“…Montana may be next: A proposed 2026 ballot initiative would, if passed, amend the state constitution to end the power of corporations and dark money groups to spend unlimited sums on politics. The “Montana Plan” would effectively neuter Citizens United by changing corporate law, which is state – not federal – law.
